Configuring MAC Filter 
 
 
This procedure introduces how to configure MAC filter settings to permit or deny the packets with the 
specific MAC addresses to access the Internet. 
 
Context 
 
MAC filter aims at the user-side LAN, that is, the upstream data flow. 
 
Steps 
 
1. 
On  the navigation tree,  click  [Security→  MAC  Filter].  The  MAC filter configuration page is 
displayed, see Figure 37. On this page, you can specify to discard or permit the data packages 
by configuring the MAC address, protocol, and the connection type.
