Motor cable
Use symmetrical shielded cable for motor cabling. If the cable shield is the sole PE
conductor for drive or motor, make sure that is has sufficient conductivity for the PE.
4. Cut an adequate hole into the rubber grommet. Slide the grommet onto the cable.
5. Prepare the ends of the motor cable as illustrated in figures 5a and 5b (two
different motor cable types are shown). If you use aluminum cables, put grease to
the peeled aluminum cable before connecting it to the drive. Note: The bare
shield will be grounded 360 degrees. Mark the pigtail made from the shield as a
PE conductor with yellow-and-green color.
