4.3.2 Logging Message
The Logging Message Filter page allows you to enable the display of logging message filter.
To access this page, click Monitoring > Logging Message.

Item Description
Target Click the drop-down menu to select a target to store the log messages.
Buffered: Store log messages in RAM. All log messages are cleared after
system reboot.
File: Store log messages in a file.
Severity The setting allows you to designate a severity level for the Logging
Message Filter function.
Click the drop-down menu to select the severity level target setting.
The level options are:
emerg: Indicates system is unusable. It is the highest level of severity.
alert: Indicates action must be taken immediately.
crit: Indicates critical conditions.
error: Indicates error conditions.
warning: Indicates warning conditions.
notice: Indicates normal but significant conditions.
info: Indicates informational messages.
debug: Indicates debug-level messages.
Category Click the drop-down menu to select the category level target setting.
View Click View to display all Logging Information and Logging Message
information.
Refresh Click Refresh to update the screen.
Clear buffered
messages
Click Clear buffered messages to clear the logging buffer history list.
