4.5.7 802.3az EEE
The 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) innovative green feature reduces energy
consumption through intelligent functionality:
Traffic detection — Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) compliance
Inactive link detection
Inactive link detection function automatically reduces power usage when inactive links or
devices are detected.
