Tools for Changing Parameters
Some parameters are accessible through RSLogix 5000 software. The alternative
is to use Explicit Messaging from the Ethernet module.
Follow these steps to change parameters by using Explicit Messaging.
1. Create a Set Attribute Single MSG instruction in the ladder logic program.
2. Use a Class value of 374 (Hex).
3. Use the ID of the parameter as listed in Appendix
C as the Instance.
4. Use the Attribute value to reflect the format of the value and the
nonvolatile status of the value.
