18 Troubleshooting
18.2.5.3 Checking the maximum pressure of the
travel pump (reverse/forward)
Remove the hydraulic hose of the B travel circuit (forward) for
the travel pump.
Pressure-close the screw connections.
Remove the screw connection of the A travel T-circuit (reverse)
for the travel pump.
Pressure-close the screw connections.
Connect a pressure gauge (at least 400 bar) to the MA travel
pressure measuring point.
Start the engine.
Full speed
Reverse at full speed while locked.
Let it run for no more than 5 seconds.
Connect a pressure gauge (at least 400 bar) to the MB travel
pressure measuring point (1).
Start the engine.
Full speed
Drive forward at full speed while locked.
Let it run for no more than 5 seconds.
If the travel pump maximum pressure of 330 ± 15 bar is not
reached:
• replace the travel pump, see “Replacement of the travel
pump” (Chapter 11.2.1).
