Do not install gas struts if they are damaged due to me-
chanical handling.
Welds on the gas struts as well as dirt or paint on the pis-
ton rod may lead to equipment failure.
Avoid changes and manipulations, shocks, tensile loads,
heating, repainting and removal of prints.
Do not install any defective or improperly processed
products.
If you do not need the gas struts any more, dispose of
them in an environmentally-friendly manner.
