6.3.3 Pattern

See Figure 6.3.1-1 for the device connection.
(3) Procedure
1. Connect devices and configure the settings in the same manner
as shown in Steps 2 and 3 in Section 6.3.1.
2. Set the output of the MP1861A to ON and press the
measurement start button of the MP1862A. Adjust the phase as
required, and check that no error occurs.
3. For both the MU183020A and the MU183040A/B, set the PRBS
pattern length to 2n

1, changing the value of n to 7, 9, 10, 11,
15, 20, 23, and 31, and check that no error occurs.
4. For both the MU183020A and the MU183040A/B, set the test
pattern to Zero Substitution, then, set Length to 2n

1, changing
the value of n to 7, 9, 10, 11, 15, 20, and 23, and check that no
error occurs. Next, set Length to 2n, changing the value of n to
7, 9, 10, 11, 15, 20, and 23, and confirm that no error occurs.
