Fit the valve spring retaining element.
•
Compress the valve spring with the
spring compressor and use the valve
spring compressor adapter to fit the
valve cotters.
•
To fix the valve cotters on the valve
stem, slightly hit the valve head with a
soft-head mallet.
HITTING THE VALVE HEAD EXCESSIVELY MAY DAMAGE
THE VALVE.

AP9100838 Tool for valve pressure plate
AP8140179 Valve spring compressor
•
Place both bucket tappets (2) and both
pads under them on both intake valves.
•
Place both pads (1) on both exhaust
valves.
Installing the rocker arms
•
Position the exhaust rocker.
