Engine oil capacity, replacing oil filter

Engine oil filter
•
Drain off the engine oil completely.
•
Unscrew the engine oil filter cover (2).
•
Remove the engine oil filter cover (2)
and collect the O-ring.
•
Remove the engine oil filter.
•
Fit a new engine oil filter and be spe-
cially careful with the position of the
filter spring.
•
Screw the engine oil filter cover (2) with
O-rings.
•
Add engine oil through the fill opening
(1).
•
Screw and tighten the oil filling / drain-
age plugs.
•
Start the engine and let it run for sev-
eral minutes.
•
Stop the engine.
•
Unscrew and take out the oil filler plug
(1).
•
Check engine oil level and top up, if re-
quired.
•
Refit the oil sump guard.
BY-PASS VALVE CLEANING
•
Drain off the engine oil completely.
•
Working on the right side, unscrew and
remove the oil pressure regulating
valve (2).
Locking torques (N*m)
Oil pressure inlet conical cap - M10x1 18 Nm
(13.28 lbf ft)
