APRILIA MXV 450 - Magneto Flywheel Removal

Removing the flywheel cover
•
Undo and remove the ten short screws
(1).
•
Undo and remove the two longer
screws (2).
•
Mark the screws (1 - 2) that have dif-
ferent lengths.
•
Remove the flywheel-side cover to-
gether with the stator and collect the
gasket and the two centring dowels.
Magneto flywheel removal
•
Remove the flywheel-side crankcase half and the clutch-side crankcase half.
•
Lock primary gear rotation using the specific tool.
•
Lock primary gear rotation using the
specific tool.
•
Unscrew and remove the nut fixing the
flywheel and collect the washer.
