FORK BLEEDING
The front fork must be fully extended to bleed air:
•
loosen the screw located on the stem
cover;
•
wait until all air is purged;
•
tighten the screw;
•
repeat the operation for both stems.
Reassembling the fork
CAUTION
BEFORE PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS GET THE PROPER OPTIONAL SPE-
CIAL TOOL (A) AND SPREAD A THIN LAYER OF FORK OIL OVER GASKETS AND BUSHINGS
BEFORE REFITTING THEM.
Specific tooling
AP8140758 tool to fit oil seals and dust gaiter for ø 50 mm (1.97 in) stems

Fit the components on the stem in the following order:
- dust scraper (1);
