Chain removal
FRONT
•
Remove the front cylinder head.
•
Remove the generator crankcase.
•
Undo and remove the movable chain
guide slider screw.
•
Remove the chain slider.
•
Slide off the chain.
•
Remove the gear and collect the cotter.

•
Remove the rear cylinder head.
•
Remove the clutchside crankcase.
•
Lock the primary gear using the spe-
cific tool.
•
Unscrew and remove the timing sys-
tem gear nut.
•
Remove the timing system gear.
