Replace silencer acoustic insulation material
CAUTION
BEFORE CARRYING OUT THE OPERATIONS DESCRIBED BELOW, WEAR A PAIR OF SAFETY
GLOVES
•
Remove the connection rivets between
the silencer upper and lower half-shells
operating as follows:
With a commercially available Ø 3mm pin and a
rubber mallet "perforate" the rivets
•
Using a drill with a Ø 5mm point perfo-
rate the rivets completely
.
•
If necessary, use a commercially avail-
able Ø 5mm pin and a rubber mallet to
remove any remaining shank of the riv-
ets, making sure that both half-shell
holes are free.
CAUTION
MAKE SURE THAT NO RIVET SHANKS ARE LEFT INSIDE
THE HALF-SHELLS
