Collect the shim washer.
•
Collect the clutch housing.
•
Collect the spacer and the needle
bearings.
Checking the clutch plates
•
Lay the friction discs and steel discs on
a level surface and check them for
cracks and potential distortions.
NOTE
THE STEEL DISCS MUST SHOW NO SCORES OR TEM-
PERING COLOUR. CHECK CLUTCH DISCS FOR WEAR BY
MEASURING THE ENTIRE CLUTCH DISC UNIT.
DO NOT MEASURE THE STEEL DISC UNIT AND THE FRIC-
TION DISC UNIT INDIVIDUALLY SINCE DOING SO IS IR-
RELEVANT FOR WEAR CHECKING.
