APRILIA MXV 450 - Filling Oil

Filling oil
•
Place sleeve (7) upright in a vice fitted
with protection jaws.
•
Compress sleeve (7) in the stem.
•
Insert the preloading pipe in the sleeve
(7).
•
Pour part of the fork oil into sleeve (7).
•
Wait some minutes until the oil fills all
the ducts.
•
Pour the remaining oil.
•
Pump out oil a few times.
•
Measure the air gap between the oil
level and the rim.
CAUTION
THE SLEEVE (7) MUST BE PERFECTLY INSERTED IN THE
STEM FOR A CORRECT OIL LEVEL READING. THE OIL
LEVEL MUST BE THE SAME IN BOTH STEMS.
