Refitting the crankcase halves
CAUTION
BEFORE REFITTING, REPLACE AND LUBRICATE THE OIL SEALS AND LUBRICATE THE BALL
BEARINGS.
•
Fit the oil seals and the bearings on the
crankcase halves.
•
Fit the entire crankshaft on the right
crankcase half.
•
Place the shim washer on the right
crankcase half in the hole of the trans-
mission secondary crankcase.
•
Fit the transmission main and secon-
dary shafts in the right crankcase half,
together with the desmodromic drum
and the levers.
•
Place the cylinders liners as externally
as possible.
•
Place the cylinder liners with the refer-
ence mark near the crankcase halves
coupling edge.
•
Apply Three Bond sealant (code
855252) all along the crankcase pe-
rimeter.
•
Place the shim washer on the trans-
mission main shaft.
