Ref. Item Description/Possible Settings
103 ANS
Enables the user to configure the settings for ambient noise sensor processing
on the selected output:
‘On’/‘Off’: Whether ANS is enabled on the output.
‘Min’: Threshold in dBA below which ANS correction does not occur (65 to
89dB).
‘Max’: Maximum noise level in dBA applied to compensate for ambient noise
(81 to 95dB). It is used to limit the range over which the gain maybe
increased from its set value.
‘Attack’: The rate at which gain is applied to compensate for ambient nose
(units 10ms per dB) (1 to 99).
Default values:
‘Off’
‘Min=80dB' ‘Max=90dB’
‘Attack=20 (100th sec/dB)’
104 Surv
Enables the user to define the type and level of the low frequency surveillance
tone generated the selected output.
Possible values:
Mode: ‘Off’, ‘On’ (continuous), or ‘Pulsed’
LEVEL(dB)=40 to 0dB
Default values:
‘Pulsed’ and ‘–18dB’
105 Override
Enables the user to configure the gain in dB to be applied to the selected output
in the event that the audio bypass system is used (failure of microprocessor).
Possible values:
63 to 0dB (1dB steps)
Default value:
30dB
106 Name Enables the user to view/edit the output name. For reference only.
Possible values:
alphanumeric string of up to 12 characters
Default value:
OUTPUT nn
Where nn is the output number.
107 Digital#nn Enables the user to scroll through the Router contact list for selection.
Where: nn=1 to 20 (contacts 11 to with EXP8 Interface Expansion Board)
108 Routing
Configures the contact for Routing, i.e. the contact is activated to trigger a route
connecting any combination of inputs to outputs. The outputs in question are the
Slave Unit outputs, the inputs may be either Slave Unit audio sources, or Audio
Control Unit DVAs.
Having chosen this option the sub-menus ‘Zoning’ (item 115), ‘Control’ (item
116), and ‘Clear-all’ (item 117) are displayed.
Other options available:
Not-Conf
Contact is not configured.
External Fault
When the contact is activated, a fault is logged by the router. Sub-menu ‘Desc’
is displayed when External Fault is selected for a contact.
Reset Contact
The contact may also be used to clear a route (reset) triggered by another
contact. It is configured in the ‘Latching’ sub-menu, see item 123.
Default value:
‘Not-Conf’
109 Unit address n Enables the user to define a RS485 multi-drop address for a remote unit.
Possible values:
1 to 6
