2. Place the exhaust flex pipe gasket in position.

3. With the exhaust pipe gasket in place, install the
four bolts that secure the exhaust pipe to the
exhaust manifold.

4. Make sure there are no kinks or bends in the
muffler, then tighten the bolts on the muffler
clamp.
Battery Removal and Installa-
tion
The tools required for battery removal and installa-
tion are listed in Table 11-3. Use manufacturer-
recommended tools whenever possible.
