Function of this document
This document instructs the technical personnel of the machine manufacturer or machine operator on the
safe use of the devices described in the scope.
It does not include instructions on the safe use of the machine in which the devices are or will be
integrated. Information on this is contained in the operating instructions for the machine.

device.
You will need general knowledge about automation engineering in order to understand this manual. In
addition, planning and using automation systems requires technical knowledge which is not contained in
this manual.
