Edge Diagnostics Using ProVision
ProVision provides a network-wide view of operational status, using data polled from
each device on the network. Without having to log on to a specific device ProVision
gives indications of:
• Alarm severity
• Nature/type of alarm
• Which services are affected
• Which paths or devices should be checked in detail
• Ethernet performance
ProVision also supports a circuit tracing capability whereby the routing of traffic
circuits through an Eclipse network is automatically discovered.
