Security Configuration
The security screen enables activation or de-activation of login security, and
password editing.

Security Screen
When login security has been set, a window is displayed immediately after the Portal
Start-up window, in which username and password are prompted for admin,
engineer, or operator. Refer to Table 4-9 for username access details.

Figure 4-23 shows the Security screen and login window for password activation.

Enables
admin port_adm Security and password setting. Security can be enabled/
disabled, and passwords set and changed. Cannot view and
change Eclipse configuration or diagnostic settings, or
update software.
engineer port_eng Read/write access. An engineer can send changes to
Eclipse and update software, but cannot change password
or security settings.
operator port_op Read only. An operator cannot send changes to Eclipse or
update software, or change password or security settings.
