Commissioning and
Troubleshooting
This section sectiondescribes the commissioning process, commissioning tests, and
troubleshooting for an Eclipse Edge installation. Refer to:

Commissioning tests and troubleshooting guides are based on those
detailed in Aviat Networks’ Best Practices Guide.
Eclipse Edge Commissioning Process
Commissioning ensures Eclipse Edge:
• Is installed correctly
• Is correctly configured
• Has passed all tests
• Is operating to plan and running alarm and error-free
• Has had all relevant commissioning data recorded
• Is ready for traffic carrying duty
• A recommended Eclipse commissioning form (as an Excel worksheet) is available to
assist compilation of an installation datapack, and capture of as-built data, to result
in a complete node as-built record. Refer to Commissioning Records for Edge on
page 11.
A typical commissioning process is summarized in Table 5-1.
