NOTE:
If the IP Reset button is pressed when the IDU is going through a
configuration reset, normal/expected LED indications will not occur.
Release between 5
and 10 seconds.
IDU and ODU status LEDs
flash orange for 5
minutes, then return to
their original state.
A temporary DHCP server is
enabled while the LEDs flash
orange. Refer to
Temporary DHCP
Connection on page 19
.
The informational event
‘DHCP Enabled’ is logged.
If the DHCP server is
enabled via Portal (returned
to factory default), the 5
minute timeout is cancelled,
and the LEDs return to
normal operation.
Hold down for more
than 10 seconds.
IDU and ODU status LEDs
flash red.
None.
Release after 10
seconds.
LEDs continue to flash
red until the radio
reboots, whereupon
normal boot indications
begin with an IDU status
of solid red.
The entire IDU configuration
is deleted and replaced with
the factory default
configuration, which
includes the DHCP server
function. The informational
event ‘Configuration Reset’
is logged. The radio then
reboots.
After the radio has
rebooted, the radio has the
IP address 169.254.1.1 and
the DHCP server is enabled
with the IP address range
169.254.2.1 to
169.254.254.255, and the
netmask 255.255.0.0
