COMMAND MEANING
%M Mode LED Indication
If your modem has three ‘Mode’ LEDs, you can use the %M command
to determine whether the LEDs will indicate the line speed or the quality
of the line.
The Mode LEDs provide an indication of the line speed or line quality
when you are connected to another modem only.
If you have issued the %M0 command, refer to the table on the underside
of your modem to determine the line speed.
If you have issued the %M1 command:
Mode 1 LED will illuminate whenever the line quality is judged to be
poor, Mode 2 LED will flash whenever a V.42 or MNP error is detected
