3 Connect the power supply’s power cord
to the mains supply.
To isolate the Nippy 4 from the mains supply, disconnect the power supply.
4.4 Connecting the Patient Circuit

Read 2.4 Usage of Patient Circuit, page 18 carefully to make sure all conditions are consid-
ered and met.
Connect the Patient Circuit
1 Inspect the circuit for damages.
2 Connect the patient circuit to the
patient air outlet on the ventilator.
3 If having a heated patient circuit,
connect the heated wire electrical plug to
the socket on the ventilator.
