2.2.3.1 Module Status LEDs
The LEDs H21 and H22 indicate the status of the Profibus interface
module.
LED Colour Condition Meaning Note
H21 green
OFF Not initialized Module in SETUP or NW_INIT state
ON Initialized Module has shifted from the NW_INIT state
1x FLASH
Diagnostic event(s)
present
Extended diagnostic bit is set
H22 red ON Exception error Device in exception state
The current status of the Module Status LEDs is also dis-
played in the Profibus configuration menu (see Meaning
of the Fields and Buttons, page 22).
2.2.3.2 Network Status LEDs
The LEDs H23 and H24 indicate the status of the network connec-
tion.
LED Colour Condition Meaning Note
H23 green
OFF Offline
■ No operating voltage
■ No connection to the master
ON Online (RUN) Data transfer is taking place.
1x FLASH Online, CLEAR
The input data are read,
the output data remain in this state
H24 red
1x FLASH
Parameterization
error
2x FLASH
Profibus
