When setting up point-to-multipoint links with the V5000 device as a distribution node (DN), if the
fiber PoP is not available near the V5000 device node, a V3000 to V3000 backhaul point-to-point
link is setup. For connecting V3000 to V5000, the DAC cable is recommended (as shown in Figure
47).
