and must s ign the repair/work order prior to sta rting the repair in o r der to validate
the wa rranty repair. All parts replaced under this l imited warran ty become the
property of BR P.
Note that the notification period is subject to the applicable national or local legisla-
tion in custom er's country.
7) WHAT BRP WILL DO
To the extent permitted by law, BRP’s obligations under this w arran ty are limited
to, at its sole discretion, repairing parts found defec tive under normal use, mainte-
nance and service; or replacing such parts w ith new genuin e Can- A m S SV parts
without charge for parts and labour, at any authorized Can-A m SSV Distributor/
Dealer during the w a rra nty coverage period under the conditions described herein.
BRP 's responsibility is limited to making the required repairs or replace ments of
parts. No claim of breach of w arranty shall be cause for cancellation or rescission
of the sale of the Can-Am SS V to the owne r. You may have other legal rights which
may vary from country to country.
In the event that service is required outside of the cou ntry of original sale, the
owner will b ea r responsibil ity for an y additional cha rges due to local prac tices
and conditions, such as, but not limited to, freight, i ns ura nc e, taxes, licens e f ees ,
import duties, and a ny and all other financial c ha rges, including those levied by
governments, states, territories and their respective a gencies.
BRP reserv es the rig ht to improve or modify products from time to time without as -
suming any obligation to modify products previo us ly manufact ured.
8) TRANSFER
If the ownership of a product is transferred during the warranty coverage p eriod,
this limited warranty, subject t o its terms and conditions, shall also be transferred
and be v a lid for the remaini ng coverage period provid ed BR P or an authorized
Can-Am SSV Distributor/Dealer receives a proof that the former owner agreed to
the transfer o f ownership, in a ddition to the coordinates o f the new owner.
9) CONSUMER ASSISTANCE
In the event of a controversy or a dispute in connec tion with this limited warranty,
BRP suggests that you try to resolve the issue at the C a n- Am SSV D istribu-
tor/Dealer level. We recomm end discussing the i s su e w ith the authoriz ed
Can-Am SSV Distributor/Dealer's service m anag er or owner.
