Powershuttlelever(directionoftravellever)
Toselecttheforwardtravel,engagetherequiredgearra-
tiowiththegearshiftlever.
Withtheengineidling,liftthepowershuttleleverfromthe
neutrallockposition(1)andmoveittotheforwardposition
(2).
Usetheacceleratorpedaltocontroltheenginerpmand
thegroundspeed.
Toreversethedirectionoftravel,reduceenginespeed
andmovethepowerreversingfromneutrallockposition
(1)andrearwards(3)forreversetravel(audiblealarmde-
vicesounds).
NOTE:Thepowershuttleleverisequippedwithaneutral
locktopreventanaccidentalengagementofthetrans-
mission.Withthisdesign,thepowershuttlelevermoves
througha“T”slottotheforwardorreversepositions.
NOTICE:Whenoperatingatlowenvironmentaltemper-
atureswithcoldtransmissionoil,allowtheoiltowarm
upbeforeattemptingtoshiftthepowershuttlelever.The
transmissioncanbeshiftednormallyaftertheoilwarms
up.
NOTE:Anaudiblealarmwillsoundifthepowershuttle
leverisoperatedwiththeparkingbrakeengaged.
NOTICE:Thepowershuttlelevercanbeactivatedwith
anyenginespeed.Asasafetyandprecautionarymea-
sure,theenginemustrunatapproximately1200RPM.
Thisactioniseasilycontrolledbyusingthefootaccelera-
tortocontrolengineandgroundspeed.
