Operatingthemachineinatoohighgearorunderatoo
heavyloadwillcausethetorqueconvertertoslipexces-
sivelyandoverheat.Ifthemachineisoverloaded,theen-
ginespeedwillnotexceedarangeof1800-2200RPMat
maximumacceleratorandthetorqueconverterwill“stall”
bringingthemachinetoacompletestop.
If“stall”doesoccur,thereisstillsufcientenginepower
tooperatetheloaderattachment;however,topreventthe
transmissionfromoverheating,eitherreducetheloadon
themachineorselectalowergearratio.
NOTICE:Operatingata“stall”formorethan20seconds
cancausethetransmissiontooverheatandcanpossibly
damagethetransmission.Ifthetransmissionoverheats,
theneedle(3)reachestheredeld.Shiftboththepower
shuttleleverandthegearshiftlevertoneutral.Letthe
enginerunidle(1000RPM)untiltransmissionoilcools
downenoughtohavetheneedle(3)returntocorrectpo-
sition.
