tank.
2.Turnthekeycylinder(2)withthestarterkeytounlocktheDEF/AdBlue®tankcover(1).Turnthecoveraccess
handle(3)anddrawopenthecover(1)frontward.
3.WipetheinletontheDEF/AdBlue®tank(4)cleanofdirt,mud,andforeignobjects.
NOTICE:somewhitepowderdepositsmayformwhenDEF/AdBlue®adheresanddriesinplacessuchasthe
supplyinlet.WipeoffthesedepositstopreventthemfromenteringtheDEF/AdBlue®tank.
4.Turnthecap(6)counterclockwiseandopenthellerneck.
NOTICE:DEF/AdBlue®mayemitanodorwhenthetankcapisopened.Donotattempttosmellinsidethetank
fromthesupplyinlet.
5.RelluptotheF(upperlimit)mark(7)onthelevelgauge(5).
NOTICE:neverrellDEF/AdBlue®overtheF(upperlimit)markonthelevelgauge.Adequateairvolumemust
bepresentinthetopofthetankforproperfunctionalityoftheSCRsystem.Moreover,DEF/AdBlue®mayleaks
fromthebreatherhoseduringuse,andsensorsmaybedamagedwhenitbecomesfrozen.
NOTICE:ifDEF/AdBlue®spillswhileadding,wipeoffthespillagewithaclothandthenrinsetheareawithfresh
water.DEF/AdBlue®willcausecorrosiononpaintedandunpaintedmetallicsurfaces,andmaydistortsome
plasticandrubbercomponents.
