Radiatorsandoilcoolersdustremoval
Themachineisequippedwithahydraulicfandrivesystem.Thehydraulicfandrivesystemallowstoreversethefan
rotationinordertoblowawaydustanddebrisfromtheradiatorsandtheoilcooler.
Thefanreversingisaspecialoperatingfunction,andcannotbeactivatedduringnormalmachineoperation.T oacti-
vatethefanreversingfunction,stopthenormalmachineoperation,andfollowthereferenceproceduredescribedin
thisSection.
NOTICE:Alltheoperatingcontrolsofthemachinearelockedasthefanreversingfunctionisactivated.
Theradiatorsandtheoilcoolershouldbeblownonadailybasis.Therecommendedoperatingpracticeistocarryout
ablowingoperationatthemiddleoftheworkingday.Ifthemachineisworkinginaheavilydustyorsandyenvironment,
repeattheblowingoperationmorefrequentlyduringtheworkingday,atleasteverytwohours.
Thereferenceprocedureforblowingoperationisdescribedbelow.Theblowingsequenceshouldtake8–10min.
NOTICE:Donotoperatethefaninreversemodeformorethan45min.Fanreversingismainlyintendedforcleaning,
anddoesnotgrantthebestcoolingperformance.
NOTICE:Theregularapplicationoftheblowingproceduredoesnotreplacethecleaningproceduresforradiatorsand
oilcooleroutlinedinChapter6aspartofthemaintenanceprogramofthemachine.

2.Lowertheattachmenttotheground,andsetthegate
locklevertocentralposition.
3.Turntheenginespeedthrottletolowidleposition.Wait
