2.Placethegatelockleverincentralposition.Stopthe
engineandremovethestarterkey.
3.Getoffthemachine.Retracttheradioantenna.Fold
therearviewmirrors.
4.Lockthecabdoorandthesidepanels.
5.Checktheconditionofthetie-downpointsonthe
trailer.
6.Placearubberpad(A)overtheboom.
7.Passawirerope(B)aroundtheboomtosecurethe
frontequipmenttothetrailer.
8.Putchocks(C)againsttheedgesofthetracks.

9.Fixoneendofatie-downchain(D)toeachofthefour
lashingpoints(E)identiedontheinsideofthelower
frame.
10.SetthechainsinanXshapeasshowninthepicture,
andxthemtothetie-downpointsonthetrailer.T en-

trailer.
11.Putpads(F)overthetracksinthepositionsidentied
alongthesidesofthelowerframe.Routethechains
(G)acrossthetracks,andtie-downonthevertical
direction.
