Makesuretouseuidsandlubricantswhichhavespecicationssuitableforoperationatlowambienttemperatures.

Checkthebatteriesforfullchargestate.
•
Fillupthefueltankaftercompletingthework,andthendrainwaterbeforestartingworkonthenextdayinorderto
preventdewcondensationandinvasionofwatertothefuelsystem.
•
Usefuelwhichisratedtotheoutsideairtemperature,orproperanti-freezeinordertopreventcrystalgenerationat
-2°C(28°F).
NOTICE:Beforetransportingthemachinetoacoldregion,llthetankwithfuelthathasalowfreezingtemperature.

Makesuretouseuidsandlubricantswhichhavespecicationssuitableforoperationathighambienttempera-
tures.
•
Keepthecoolantatthecorrectlevelinthecoolantreservoirandintheradiator.
•
Usethecorrectsolutionofethyleneglycolandwaterinthecoolingsystem.
•
Testtheradiatorcapbeforehotweatherstarts.Replacethecapasrequired.
•
Cleanalldirtanddebrisfromtheradiator,coolerandenginearea.
•
Checktheconditionofthefandrivebelt.
Operationunderdustyandsandyconditions
•
Frequentlyinspecttheelementoftheaircleanerandcleanorreplacetheelementandthedustcupregardlessof
servicedue.
•
Tightlyclosethebreathercapofthehydraulictanktopreventinvasionofsandanddusttothehydrauliccircuits.
•
Makesuretothoroughlycleanthegreasettingsbeforegreasinganylubricationpointofeachpinandbush.
•
Makesuretocleantheradiatornandoilcoolernandtheradiatorgrid.
Operationonseashore
•
Inspecttightnessoftheplugs/cocks/boltsineachpointinordertopreventsaltcorrosion.
•
Thoroughlywashthemachineafterthework,especiallytakegoodcareoftheelectricalequipmentandhydraulic
cylindertopreventcorrosion.
Operationonhighlyhumidlandorsoftland
•
Keepthemachineasdryaspossibleduringoperationandmakesuretocarryoutregularlubrication.Moistureand
mudwatercausedeteriorationandcorrosionofpaints/wirings/metalcomponents.
