Lubricant:CASEAKCELA251HEPMULTI-PURPOSEGREASE
Prepareacanoflooseandcleangreaseforcheckingthegreasingoftheswinggears.Prepareagunand
cartridgesofcleangreaseforgreasingtheturntablebearing.
1.Parkthemachineonahardandlevelground.Orient
theupperstructureframeparalleltotheundercarriage.
2.Operatetheboom,arm,andattachmentcontrolsso
thatthearmstandsverticalandtheattachmentrests
ontheground.
3.Setthegatelocklevertocentralposition,stoptheen-
gine,andremovethestarterkey.
4.Removethecoverinthebottomofthelowerframe.
Removetheplug(1)sotodrainwater,andgreasymud.
Snugtightentheplug(1).

5.Checkthegreasingoftheswinggears.Removethe
inspectioncover(2)onthefrontoftheupperframe.
6.Removealldirtygrease.
7.Checkthesurfacesoftheswinggearsforexcessive
wearingordamages.Ifanyexcessivewearingordam-
ageisfound,immediatelycalltheCASECONSTRUC-
TIONDealerforinspectionandrepair.
8.T akingcleangreasefromthecan,restorepropergreas-
ingofthesurfaceoftheteethoftheswingring.
NOTICE:donotgreasetheteethatfullheightinordernot
tohavetoomuchgreasespreadbeyondtheswingring.

9.Greasetheturntablebearing.Removetheprotective
capsfromthettings(3)and(4)onthebearing.
10.Usingthegreasegun,injectcleangreaseintothet-
ting(3)sotopushtheoldgreaseoutfromthelower
sealinglipoftheturntablebearing.Stopinjectingas
cleangreasecomesoutfromthelip.
11.Cleanupthegreasethatexceededthesealinglip,and
resettheliptoitsseatingposition.
NOTICE:Alwayscheckthesealinglipforexcessivewear-
ingordamages.Ifanyexcessivewearingordamage
isfound,immediatelycalltheCASECONSTRUCTION
Dealerforinspectionandrepair.
12.Injectthesameamountofgreaseintothetting(4).
Reachtheoppositesideoftheturntablebearing,
cleanupthegreasethatexceededthesealinglip,
andresettheliptoitsseatingposition.

13.Getontothecab,starttheengine,andsetthegate
lockleverinforwardposition.
