2.Neverllthetankwhentheengineisrunning.
3.Wipeupspilledfuelimmediately.
Failuretocomplycouldresultindeathorseriousinjury.

Replacethefuelpre-lterelementevery500h
Thelterelementmaygetcloggedearlierthan500hdependinguponthequalityoffuel,theintegrityoflter,the
functionalityofthesupplysystem,orothernotregularconditions.Inthesecases,themessageFUELFILTER
appearsonthetopofthedisplay.Immediatelystopmachineoperation,andreplacethelterelementinorderto
avoidseveredamagestothefuelsystem.
NOTICE:Theltermustbereplacedtakingprecautionssothatanyforeingmaterialmaygetintothelterbodyorthe
lterelement.Failingtocomplywillleadtoseveredamagestothefuelsupplysystemandtothefuelinjectionsystem.
NOTICE:Neverreusefuelthatrestsintothelterbody.Tocleanthelterbody,usecleandieselfuelonly.
NOTICE:UseoffuelltersotherthanCASECONSTRUCTIONgenuinecomponents,isprohibited.
1.Closethefuelcutvalve.

2.Placeacontainerwithanappropriatecapacitybelow
theendofthedrainhose(1).
3.Loosenthedrainplug(2)andtheairbleedplug(3),and
drainwaterfromthepre-lterbody.
4.Cleantheareaaroundthepre-lterbody,andthenre-
moveitwiththespecicwrenchsuppliedwiththema-
chine.
5.Installanewlterelement.Replacethesealonthe
pre-lterbody,andtheninstallthebodyonthepre-lter
headbyturningitmanually.
NOTICE:neverllthepre-lterbodywithfuelbeforethe
installation.
