TheCX490D/CX500Dshouldneverbetransportedorhandledasacompletemachine,andshouldthusbedisassem-

bledintospecicmainmodules.Therefore,anytransportorhandlingoftheCX490D/CX500Dshouldbeprepared

andexecutedonlybyaspecializedhaulingServicetobeagreedwiththeCASECONSTRUCTIONDealer.

StrictlyrefertotheSection"Roadtransport"ofthisManualforgeneralrequirements,prescriptions,andprecautions

forpreparingandhandlingthemainmodulesofthemachine.

Inadditiontowhatisprescribedintothesection"Roadtransport",someshippingconditionsrequiretohavethesizeof

themainmodulesofthemachinefurtherreduced.Inparticular,thebasemachineshouldbedisassembledremoving

theboom,andtheboomcylinders.

Therefore,alsotheboomandtheboomcylindersshouldbehandledwithcranesandlifters.

NOTICE:Asgeneralprescription,makesurehandlethemainmodulesusingwireropes,slings,shackles,andother

liftingdevicesofpropercapacityinordertotackletheweightofeachmodule.Itisrecommendedtoconsider120%

ofthereferenceweightofeachmodulefortheselectionoftheliftingdevices.

Refertothefollowingtablesfortheweightsandtheoveralldimensionsofthemainmodules.
