Usingothertypesoffuelmayleadtostalledengineoutputordeteriorationinfueleconomy.
NOTICE:Thewarrantyshouldbeinvalidifanyseriousdefectiscausedbyusageofanyotherfuel.Usinganyfuel
otherthantheprescribedtypewillcausedamagestothefuelsupplysystem,tothefuelinjectionsystem,tothe
engineblock,andtotheexhaustaftertreatmentsystem.CASECONSTRUCTIONwillnotberesponsibletoanyof
suchdamages.
Ifthetemperaturedropsbelowthefuelcloudpoint,outputdeciencyorenginestartproblemsmayoccurduetowax
crystals.Duringcoldweather,lowerthan-7°C(19.4°F),itistemporarilyacceptabletouseamixtureofNo.1-D
(S15)andNo.2-D(S15).
NOTICE:Ifoperatinginseverewinterclimate,consultthefuelsupplierortheCASECONSTRUCTIONdealerfor

Thedieselfueltobeusedonthemachineshould:

befreefromdustparticles,evenminuteones.

havetheproperviscosity.

haveahighcetanenumber.

presentgreatuidityatlowtemperatures.

havelowsulfurcontent.

haveverylittleresidualcarbon.
NOTICE:Neveruseamixofdieselfuelandoldengineoil.Thefuelinjectionsystemandtheexhaustaftertreatment
systemwillbeseverelydamaged.

Fuelstorage:
Longstoragecanleadtotheaccumulationofimpuritiesandcondensationinthefuel.Enginetroublecanoftenbe
tracedtothepresenceofwaterinthefuel.Thestoragetankmustbeplacedoutsideandthetemperatureofthefuel
shouldbekeptaslowaspossible.Drainoffwaterandimpuritiesregularly.
Disposalofuids,lubricants,andspareparts
Fluids,lubricantsandsparepartsusedonthemachinearenotfullycompatiblewiththeenvironment.Makesureto
carryoutallmaintenanceoperationsusingappropriatetools,inordertoavoidanyriskofdamagingtheenvironment.
NOTE:forexample,makesurethatthereceptacleforcollectingoiltobereplacedisnotleaking.
Neverspreaduidsorlubricantsonthegroundorintowater.ConsulttheCASECONSTRUCTIONDealerorthe
LocalEnvironmentalAgencyinordertoobtaininformationonthecorrectmethodofdisposinguidsandlubricants
usedonthemachine.
