lawsgoverningwastedisposal.
USEnvironmentalProtectionAgency(EPA)WarrantyStatement
CASECONSTRUCTIONwarrantstotheultimatepurchaserandeachsubsequentpurchaserthattheengine
isdesigned,builtandequippedsoastoconformwithUSEnvironmentalProtectionAgency(EPA)regulations
applicableatthetimeofmanufactureandthatitisfreefromdefectsinworkmanshipormaterialwhichwould
causeitnottomeettheseregulationsforaperiodof:
•
2yearsor1,500hoursofoperation,whicheveroccursrst,forengineslessthan19kW(25Hp)
•
5yearsor3,000hoursofoperation,whicheveroccursrst,forenginesgreaterthanorequalto19kW(25Hp)
NOTE:thiswarrantyappliestoallunitsoperatedintheUnitedStatesorCanada.
Coverage
Themodelyear,classofdieselengine,andemissionapplicationdeterminationforyourengineareidentiedonthe
EmissionControlInformationLabel.Thislabelisafxedtooneofthefollowingareasoftheengine:thetopofen-
gine'srockerarmcover,theright-handsideoftheoilpan,andtheright-handsideoftheenginefrontgearcover.
Thewarrantyperiodbeginsonthedatethenewequipmentissoldtotherstretailpurchaser.Thepresenceofthe
emissioncontrollabelistheindicationthattheengineconformstotheapplicablestandards.Anyemissioncontrol
systempartswhichareprovendefectiveduringnormalusewillberepairedorreplacedduringthewarrantyperiod.
TheengineownerhasresponsibilitytoperformalltherequiredmaintenancelistedintheOwner'sManual.CASE
CONSTRUCTIONwillnotdenyanemissionwarrantyclaimsolelybecausenorecordofmaintenanceexists;however,
aclaimmaybedeniediffailuretoperformmaintenanceresultedinthefailureofawarrantedpart
ItisrecommendedthatreplacementpartsusedformaintenanceorrepairsbeCASECONSTRUCTIONServiceParts
tomaintainthequalityoriginallydesignedintoyouremissioncertiedengine.Theuseofnon-CASECONSTRUC-
TIONpartsdoesnotinvalidatethewarrantyonothercomponentsunlesstheuseofsuchpartscausesdamageto
warrantedparts.
Themanufacturerisliablefordamagestootherenginecomponentscausedbythefailureofanywarrantedemission
controlsystempart.CASECONSTRUCTIONisnotresponsibleforfailuresresultingfromimproperrepairortheuse
ofpartsthatarenotgenuineCASECONSTRUCTIONorCASECONSTRUCTIONapprovedparts.
