3. Diagnosis Procedures
CAUTION: Before the diagnostic procedure, observe the list of diagnostic data, analysis the
accuracy of the data for quick troubleshooting.
Test Conditions Details/Results/Actions
1. Inspect the DTC
A. Connect the diagnostic tool to fault diagnosis
interface.
B. Turn the ignition switch to position "ON".
C. Select the menu: "Changan Auto"/"CS35"/"UAES ME
778"/"Read DTC", and read DTC.
Is there any DTC besides DTC P0506 and P0507 ?
Y
Intermittent fault.

Go to step 2.
2. Inspect the alternator
A. Use a diagnostic tool, observe if the system voltage
parameter is normal.
Is the generator normal?
Y
Go to step 3.
N
Inspect the alternator fault.
3. Inspect the air intake pressure sensor parameter
A. Use a diagnostic tool, observe if the air intake
pressure sensor parameter is normal.

Is the air intake pressure sensor parameter normal?
Y
Go to step 4.
