Troubleshooting Overview
• Troubleshooting the link interface subsystem:

show interface GigabitEthernet 3/#/# — Displays information for a specific GBE Interface.
Following is a sample output from the show interface command.

Checking the LEDs
The LEDS on the SCE8000-SMC-E front panel, along with the LEDs on the power supplies and fan
assembly are the most immediate problem-detection mechanism of the platform. Refer to the following
sections for information on Cisco SCE8000 GBE platform LEDS:
