As new versions of Windows NT are released, it might be necessary to upgrade
AlphaBIOS to the latest version. Also, as improvements are made to
AlphaBIOS, you may wish to upgrade to take advantage of new features.
Use this procedure to upgrade from an earlier version of AlphaBIOS:
1.
Insert the diskette or CD-ROM containing the AlphaBIOS upgrade.
2.
If you are not already running AlphaBIOS Setup, restart your system and
press F2 when the Boot screen is displayed.
3.
In the main AlphaBIOS Setup screen, select AlphaBIOS Upgrade and
press Enter.
The system is reset and the Loadable Firmware Update (LFU) utility is
started.
4.
When the upgrade is complete, issue the LFU exit command. The system is
reset and you are returned to AlphaBIOS.
