Secon 2 - Installaon
Important: Should the machine fail to ll correctly or leak, turn o the shuto valve and the
power to the machine before invesgang the fault.
From the Engineers Menu, check the display on the front of the machine to ensure that the
water has heated to the correct temperature and that the machine is in standby mode.
All Models: Rotate soluble/freshbrew ingredient canister outlets to upright posion. The
bean canister needs to have the outlet slide in the closed posion before removal.
Note: For LINEA machines it is not necessary to remove the bean canister for it to be lled.
Remove the canister from the machine and remove
the lid. If a COTI machine, place canister into the
canister lling staon inside the cabinet on the le
hand side and ll canister with correct ingredient. If
a LINEA machine, place canister on a clean, dry
surface.
DO NOT place the canister on the oor or overll
with ingredient.
Carefully remove the canister from the lling staon
and replace the lid. Ret canister into machine
ensuring that it is returned to the correct operang
staon.
Repeat this operaon for all soluble/freshbrew
ingredient canisters ed to the machine. Rotate
the canister outlets to their correct operang
posions.
Note: Aer lling canisters, complete a bowl rinse.
Ensure that the agitator is removed for any freeze dried products and the canister blanking
bungs are clicked into posion.
Bean Grinder Models: Close the outlet slide to seal the fresh beans canister outlet before
removing the canister from the machine. Remove the canister lid and hang the fresh beans
canister on the canister lling staon. DO NOT place the canister on the oor.
Fill the canister with fresh coee beans. Ret the canister lid and t the canister into the
machine, ensuring that it is located correctly. Open the outlet slide to ensure correct
operaon.
LINEA Espresso Model: Remove bean container lid using key, ll with fresh beans and
replace lid.
Note: To maintain opmum drink quality, Crane Merchandising Systems recommend that
the bean canister is replenished on a daily basis.
