Section 4 - Customising the User Interface
This section explains how to add and change images and videos that are displayed on the
user interface; the background, product, stand-by and end-of-vend images / video and
information for the consumer
The drink selections that are available to the consumer, the order the drinks appear on the
screen, the prices and the language used can also be changed.
To customise the User (Consumer) Interface:
COTI - refer to Secon 4.2 and 4.3
LINEA - refer to Secon 4.4
4.1 Images
On the COTI and LINEA machines the following are types of images and the areas where
they are displayed, which can be used to customise the User Interface:
Background - displayed while the drink is being prepared.
Large Icon - displayed while the drink is being prepared. If the drink requires Sugar and
Milk choices the image is o-set to the le if the drink doesn’t require further choices
the image is centred
Small Icon - placed in the drink selecon menu.
Video - played while the drink is being prepared.
Standby - enables a standby image to be displayed aer the machine has remained
idle for a set me.
End of Vend - enables an image or video to be displayed when the vend has nished.
Product name and descripon - appears alongside the product on the menu screen.
Operator Manuals - enables the machine manuals to be viewed on screen.
The Background, Product images and Video can all be selected to appear against particular
products i.e. if the user selects a Cappuccino they will see only images of a Cappuccino as
their drink is prepared.
The images must be loaded onto a USB stick, inserted into the USB 3 socket on the Atlas H
Board (located inside the door) and then copied onto the machine from where they can be
selected for display, refer to Section 4.5.
