Section 6 - Securing Your Network
Conguring IP Policies
Path: Security > Authentication > User Database > Groups
The following procedure describes how to congure IP-specic policies for user groups. Using this procedure,
you can allow or deny the users in a user group to log in to the wireless controllers web management interface
from a particular network or IP address.
1. Click Security > Authentication > User Database > Groups.
2. Click the Add IP Policies button. The IP Policies Conguration page will appear.
3. Complete the elds in the table below and click Save. The address you dened will appear in the
Dened Addresses area.
Field Description
Group Name Select a group name from the drop-down menu.
Source Address Type
Choices are:
IP Address = species a particular IP address.
IP Network = species an entire IP network.
Network Address/IP Address
Enter the network or IP address.
Mask Length
Enter a subnet mask.
