5. Apply a thin lm of clean oil onto
the O-ring of a new lter.
6. Tighten the lter rmly by hand.
7. Run the engine for a few minutes
and then stop it to check the leak-
age and uid level. Add uid to the
specied level as needed.

To avoid personal injury :
•
Be sure to stop the engine
before changing the fluid or
replacing the lter.
•
Cool down the uid sufcient-
ly. You can get burned by hot
uid.
CAUTION
•
To prevent serious damage to
the hydraulic system, use only
a KIOTI genuine lter.
•
Do not operate the tractor with
heavy load right after chang-
ing the transmission uid. Run
the engine at medium speed
for a few minutes to prevent
damage to the hydraulic sys-
tem.

When adding the fluid, un-
screw the bleeding plug on
the top of the hydraulic cylin-
der. Other-wise, the fluid can
overow.
