6. With all implements lowered to
the ground, coat any exposed
area such as hydraulic cylinder
piston rods with grease.
7. Remove the battery from the
tractor. Store the battery follow-
ing the battery storage proce-
dures.
8. Keep the tractor in a dry place
where the tractor is sheltered
from rain. Cover the tractor.

9. Clean the engine components as
well as the tractor.
10.Add grease to all the grease t-
ting.
11. Flush the cooling system and
drain water from it. Also, add an-
tifreeze as well as water.
12. Chock the frame in order to re-
move the weight from the tires.
To avoid injury :
•
Never clean the tractor body
while the engine is running.
•
Never run the engine in an
enclosed area without proper
ventilation system in order to
prevent poisoning by exhaust
gas.
•
When storing the tractor, re-
move the key from the switch
and store it separately in order
to prevent an unauthorized
person from operating the
tractor and being injured.
•
Cover the tractor after the
muffler and the engine have
cooled down.
•
If the battery is not to be re-
moved, disconnect its nega-
tive terminal at least. The wir-
ing can be gnawed by rodents,
leading to a re.
