CAUSE COUNTERMEASURES
1. When engine
is difcult to
start
•
Start motor does not rotate when key
switch is turned
•
Depress the clutch pedal unless depressed. (Manual type)
•
Put the PTO switch to the OFF position.
•
If the switch or start motor is faulty, have it repaired in a workshop.
•
If any terminal is loose or corroded, clean or x it rmly.
2. When output
is insufcient
•
Valve out of adjustment
•
Adjust to proper valve clearance.
- Inlet : 0.2 mm (0.008 in.)
- Exhaust : 0.2 mm (0.008 in.)
•
Air cleaner is dirty
•
Clean the element at every 100 hours of operation.
•
Replace the element at every 1 year of operation.
•
Fuel injection pressure is wrong
•
Adjust it to 220~230 Kgf/cm² or replace the injection nozzle.
3. When color
of exhaust is
specially bad
•
Fuel is of extremely poor quality
•
Select good quality fuel.
Temperature Fuel type
- Above -10°C (14°F) NO.2 Diesel
- Below -10°C (14°F) NO.1 Diesel
•
Nozzle is bad
•
If necessary, replace with new nozzle.
