Respond to Messages
Youcanrespondtoprintermessagesusingtheprinter frontpanelbuttonsorbyclickin gthe
appropriateresponsein themessagedisplayedbytheCardPrinterDriveronthePC.
Printer Messages
ThefollowingmessagesdisplayontheprinterLCDpanelandinamessageonthePCthatissued
thecardprintjobwhenyouusetheCardPrinterDriver.Usetherecoveryinstructionstorespond
tothemessage.
100: Request not supported
Theprinterdoesnotsupportthepersonalizationbeingrequestedforthecard.Thecardwillbe
canceled.
Changethecarddatatomatchtheprintersoptionsandsettings,orprinttoaprinterthatis
configuredtosupportthepersonalizationbeingrequested.
PresstheU
SERbuttonontheprinter,orclickOKonthePCtoclearthemessage.
101: Job could not complete
Thecardtooktoomuchtimetocomplete.
Thecardwillbecanceled.
PresstheU
SERbuttonontheprinter,orclickOKonthePCtoclearthemessage.
102: Card not in position
Thecardisnotpositionedintheprintercorrectly.
1. Opentheprinterandremovetheribboncartridge.
2. Turntheknobtoremovethecard.
3. Replacetheribboncartridgeandclosetheprinter.
PresstheU
SERbuttonontheprintertoclearthemessag e.OnthePC,clickRetry ,orclickCancel
tocancelthecard.
Themessagesthatdisplayaredeterminedbytheprintermodelandtheoptions
installedontheprinter.Themessagesdescribedinthefollowingsectionsmaynot
displayonallprinters.
